We were thrilled to have been able to partner up with Brooke Summer of Brooke Summer Photography. If you've never seen her work it's AMAZING, but on top of that, she is just so fun to work with and has a fabulous energetic personality. You just cant help but like the the chic :-D
Below are a few of the awesome pics Brooke took at the stylized photo shoot. The shoot was held at the very top of The Denver Clocktower. We of course provided the "lingerie cake" with black and red accents.
The above collage is a teaser. If you want to see the entire photoshoot you can view it on Brooke's Wedding Photograhy Blog. We had a great time and look forward to working with Brooke Summer in the future!

For Jim Teegarden.. a man that's SERIOUS about Golf!
This cake was made as a surprise for Jim Teegarden's 40th birthday bash. Jim is the founder and CEO of Teegarden Financial and a downright honorable man that truly cares about others. His wife Heidi took several pictures for me and I tried to make the cake as close to scale as his real golf bag and golf shoes.
From what I gathered, everyone really loved it.... especially Jim! :-D

One Shoe On..... One Shoe Off

This cake was made for my friend Shelley's husband Mark! He's known for walking around with one shoe on and one sock on. He tells everyone he leaves one shoe on because he's always nervous that he will need to leave on short notice, LOL!!!
The sock is marble cake with buttercream underneath and the shoe is gluten-fr...ee coconut cake with cream cheese frosting (made with nothing but real coconut milk, gf flour, butter, eggs and organic raw coconut oil) and is filled with fresh made lime curd.

Metallic Purple Sugar Flowers

This was a cake I made for a small wedding reception. The cake is our signature vanilla butter cake (yes, made with 100% real butter :-) with berry cream cheese filling. It's then covered with our handmade premium white chocolate rolled fondant and then decorated with our handcrafted sugar flowers. We airbrushed the flowers a with various shades of metallic purple.
I thought it turned out pretty and I got a very positive response from the bride herself! Yay :-)

Surprise Louis Vuitton Purse Cake for Stacie
Leon called me last week and wanted my to make a Louis Vuitton Purse Cake for his special girlfriend Stacie. Here is the finished cake upon delivery and just to note, this is a chocoholics dream, it's chocolate fudge butter cake with mocha dark chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream, then it’s covered with my handmade rich chocolate fondant (all natural fondant, nothing artificial) I am expecting she'll love it! Can’t wait to get the report!!! :-)

3D New York Cake

Mark called me from Austin to tell me he was coming to Breckenridge and wanted something "really awesome" for his wife's 40th birthday bash. We worked and worked AND WORKED on the design :-) until it was just right!

Lemme tell you! This cake was a project... It took us approximately a complete week to make this cake. We molded the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building out of rice crispy treats and then covered them in modeling chocolate (the BEST stuff for modeling EVER). The buildings were a mixture of fondant and modeling chocolate, and then we made the people out of colored modeling chocolate. At the end we airbrushed it for the best effect of course.

Overall, I loved the challenge and here is the finished product!
