3D Sculpted T-Rex Head Cake

Here's a recent cake we made of a 3D T-Rex Dinosaur Head. We totally LOVE making 3D cakes of all kinds.  I guess it's because with 3D cakes it's always something new.  The flavor was our chocolate fudge cake filled with dark chocolate ganache.  We'll just say he was well received and suprisingly delicious for some lizard meat ;-P

A Special Cake for a Special Kid!!!

Dylan turned 11 on November 5th, 2010. He's just got to be the best kid on the planet.. Polite, helpful, overachieving, sportsy(fantastic at ANYthing he tries to do),energetic.. Let's just say I wish I could have some of that energy transferred to me.

He had been wanting a Star Wars cake for quite awhile and he love's Darth Vader. So, I decided to make an edible version of Darth Vader's head, lol. I think everyone agreed that Darth was actually pretty tasty afterall :-)

For Jim Teegarden.. a man that's SERIOUS about Golf!

This cake was made as a surprise for Jim Teegarden's 40th birthday bash. Jim is the founder and CEO of Teegarden Financial and a downright honorable man that truly cares about others. His wife Heidi took several pictures for me and I tried to make the cake as close to scale as his real golf bag and golf shoes.

From what I gathered, everyone really loved it.... especially Jim! :-D
